What is Sacred Story?
Created by Maria Kliavkoff, Sacred Story is a method of self discovery
and personal empowerment. It is the human condition to communicate
through story. How we see ourselves and the world around us is influenced
by the way we tell our stories. As we listen carefully to the stories
that we tell about ourselves, our family, and our lives, we begin
to hear our assumptions, and our limiting beliefs. As the story
unfolds the connection between the stories we tell and the lives
we live become clear. Clients begin to reflect on the patterns of
their lives and become empowered to make conscious choice, creating
the lives they choose to live by becoming the conscious authors
of their own life story.
What is Belief Re-patterning™?
Created by Suze Casey, (Sequana™
Initiative) Belief Re-patterning™ is an elegant, safe,
practical and effective method of releasing limiting beliefs. The
technique is completely complimentary with all forms of healing
and treatment and works within the religious or spiritual belief
system of the client. This technique is a synthesis of psychology,
energy work, kinesiology, and cognitive development. Clients are
astonished at the ease and grace with which this method works to
create calm, peace of mind and the ability to live your life "on
purpose". Belief Re-patterning™ improves not only your
own life, but also the quality of your interactions with those whom
you come in contact, including family, friends and coworkers.
What is Spiritual Psychology?
Psychology
of Vision™ as defined by Dr. Chuck Spazzano is, "a healing
model…made up of three elements: relationship, leadership and
spirituality." We use these elements to explore our perceived
truths, to identify limiting beliefs and to awaken to our truest
nature. Using models and exercises identified and developed by visionary
leaders such as Carl Jung, Chuck Spazzano, Christopher
Moon, and David Deida, clients are able to unravel their past
so that they may learn from it and move forward making deliberate
and conscious choices. In this way the client begins to consciously
create the future they desire.
Facilitator Leadership Training FAQs
Is this a licensing process, will we have licensing fees
at the end of the two years of training?
There is no licensing fee following the training. You will be free to use the models and
techniques taught and integrate them into your work. In fact a large part of the training is
learning how to integrate the models with your work so that you discover your
own facilitation style.
At the end of the two-year program what am I qualified to
do?
You are qualified to run workshops on your own using the
models, tools and techniques taught. We
ask that you give credit to models that have been taught to you through MK
Facilitations. There are participants
who complete their training with MK Facilitations who may wish to become MK
Facilitations Facilitators, that option is available.
Do we have required hours of practicum to complete each
year?
MK Facilitations offers a practicum that runs in conjunction
with the Facilitator/Leadership Training Phases. If you are taking the phases only, you are
not required to complete hours of practicum work. The practicum does require hours of practice
both as a private consultant and as a workshop facilitator. In addition you are given a segment of the
2012 MK Facilitations Retreat to Facilitate.
Do workshops we are already facilitating count towards our
practicum?
Absolutely. The
purpose of this training is to work in conjunction with anything that you are
currently doing. Any workshops that you
are currently doing can be counted as part of your practicum. It is a wonderful way to integrate what you
are learning with what you are already doing.
What is the difference between the phases of the 2-year
program and the practicum?
The phases are the course work. They are designed as 4 week long intensives
with 6 months in between each intensive designed to give you the opportunity to
integrate what you have learned into your current practice. If you opt to take this training only, you
receive a certificate of completion of Facilitator/Leadership Training at the
end of phase 4. The practicum is
designed to work in conjunction with the course work to guide, support and
instruct the integration process as you grow your private consultation practice
and your develop your workshop business.
The practicum includes opportunities to facilitate on MK Facilitations
events. At the end of your practicum you
receive a Certificate of Practice from MK Facilitations which acknowledges the
completion of both the course work and the practicum.
How will FLT benefit me if I am not a facilitator?
Leadership skills, effective communication, techniques for
clear and effective public speaking are fundamental to any relationship and any
job. Everyone can benefit from this
training. In the past participants have
experienced improvements in their relationships with their significant other,
they have been promoted at their workplace to leadership and management
positions. Corporations have even
contributed to tuition costs for their employee. This training is about learning the skills
you need to realize your dreams.
How will FLT benefit me if I am an experienced facilitator?
FLT is jam packed with models, tools and techniques for
enhancing your current skill set and inspiring you to become the facilitator
who attracts your target audience and changes lives. This is an opportunity for you to look at how
you do what you do. In the 4 phases we
look at every element of facilitation and leadership. Understanding your unique style is the key to
opening possibilities for you and for your clients.
What kind of accommodations are available in Radium Hot Springs? What might
the costs be or is it included in the price? Can I share with someone to make
it more affordable for me? Is any food included?
Accommodations and meals are extra. There are numerous styles of accommodation
available in Radium and the surrounding area, everything from B & B’s to
motels with kitchenettes and hotel resorts.
In the last training, participants connected and stayed at the Big Horns
Meadow Resorts timeshare for a very reasonable rate. The timeshare included a full kitchen and
barbeque, so meals were like eating at home.
Our office can help hook you up with other participants and possible
accommodations.
How large/small is the group?
This is meant to be a small group so that we can
work closely together. The workshop is
held in my home in Radium Hot Springs so that we have an intimate and relaxing
setting. The ideal group is 4-6
people.
If I have no experience and everyone else has, will I be able to keep up?
We begin at the very beginning. We talk about the basics of facilitation and
leadership because the foundational pieces need to be solid in order to become
clear on what our unique gifts and styles are.
For those who have past experience, we explore the fundamentals so that
we all have a conscious understanding of our foundational pieces.
Can I
take the phases separately or do I have to take them all together?
Absolutely
you can take them separately. This
program is designed to service your needs.
You can choose to take individual phases, you can take the phases
without taking the practicum, or you can take any portion there of. In order to receive the certificate of
completion from MK Facilitations you must take all 4 phases. In order to receive the Certificate of
Practice from MK Facilitations you must take all four phases and complete the
practicum.
Can I
make money facilitating while I am taking the practicum?
Even if you are a brand new facilitator you will be charging a fee for
your services from your first practicum on, this is a requirement. What you will be charging will be up to
you. In the past students have used
their earnings to help pay for their education.
Students have also had their companies contribute to the cost of tuition
through professional development funds for leadership training. If you work for a company, we encourage you
to explore this option, you may be surprised by the assistance you could
receive.
